a really well made lager, but not as much honey character as i was hoping for when i ordered it. blonde and clear, but maybe a shade darker than a conventional pale lager, shiny and heady, a pretty beer in the glass. some very light floral and grassy springy vibes to the nose, and thats there in the taste too, but thats about it from the honey, aside from a light sweetness thats right there with the malt tenor, so its kind of lost a little bit, i was looking for a little more dramatic honey complexion given the local sourcing and all, i wanted this to really be about the honey, but like all the beers they had in here with adjuncts in them, the honey was subtle and tasteful and an accent at most. smooth fuller body for the style which i like, and good carbonation, malt freshness, and apparent lager yeast, which while not really crisping or drying this one as much, has a nice classic flavor about it that the beer would be missing if it were gone. solid brew, more honey would make it more unique i think, but like all the beer in here, its drinkable and fairly well polished.
