No canning date (released on 12/23/2022); consumed on 1/21/2023
Pours an opaque, nearly glossy, dark gold body capped with multiple fingers of tautly soapy, eggshell-white foam; good head retention leaves ¾ of a finger of cap, large, frothy collar, and an immense dispersion of spotty/webby lacing coating the walls of the glass.
Aromas of dank lime candy feed into citrus zest, with passionfruit and grapefruit shining over the middle as a catty dank contrasts green banana undertones on the back end of the bouquet.
Taste opens to musty tangerine and a sweet grapefruit counterbalance, with green banana subtleties over the mid-palate easing to white grape and mushy papaya on the back end.
Mouthfeel brings a medium-light body and a moderate fluff of carbonation, dispersing slick resins and a juicy backing as a plush texture resounds over the mid-palate and a residual, pillowy bittering is barely perceptible across a vague hop twang toward the finish.
An odd amalgam of hop texture, maintained and delicate for the extent to which a quirky variation from both sweet and earthy subtext prevails; despite a more unusual profile, the presentation is largely clean.
