My first from Meester, a Flanders micro that seems like a couple dedicated to this craft of classics, sours and barrel-aging. I wish I could say more for a micro-review, but their website needs to be updated if they want to market to a larger audience. And based on this Saison, they should be in that market.
Meester pours a decent head, sticks around long on the glass and on its golden body. Smells are mute, mostly malt. Tastes introduce the hops mid-to-late palate and they finish, but balanced if you like lingering hops. Also quality thirst quencher. But more important, Meester is even better at the table with a pizza from a neighborhood patisserie in Brussels... although I don't suppose you have to be that exact to enjoy it.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
