An ugly beer at best as it pours a ruddy brown color with decent clarity, and almost no head at all despite some ambitious straggler bubbles. Doesn't match what you'd think for a lager or a wild ale in terms of appearance, in my opinion...

Interesting and quite mouthwatering aromas of lemon lime soda, oak, and chocolate.

Incredible and unique flavors. The gin barrel influence is very evident, with lime and chocolate once again. Molasses, and a little char and leather to it.

The texture might be the best and most difficult part to describe. A silky feel but tart and spritzy at the same time. Sweet and sour with soda like dryness.

This is a very difficult beer to dissect. Wild Stout? Farmhouse Porter? One thing is for sure, it is one of a kind.
