A hoppy version of our Vienna lager (35 IBU). Copper in color, with a pleasant hop aroma and pronounced bitter character. It is brewed with 100% Vienna malt and Styrian Golding hops.

On tap, pours a rich amber, firm 1.5" head with light, wispy lacing. Nose is ginger candy, rich toffee malts, grassy, earthy hop. Taste leads with the toffee notes, followed by a long earthy finish. Feel is crisp with a light slickness. Very good - would have again.

Released 5/8/25; drank 6/11/25 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy pale yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a HUGE white head; thick, frothy tree-rung lacing remained.
Dandelion, mild dry grass & faint lemon notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Dandelion & mild lemon flavors up front; mild dry grass notes on the finish.
Pleasantly dry; easy drinking. I'd have another.

16 oz can into a pint glass. Cloudy, pale yellow color with some amber hues. Large rocky white head. Sweet aromas of doughy/bready malt and corn. Similar malt flavor balanced with some grassy hop bitterness. Medium feel. Balanced, flavorful, and easy-drinking lager.

poured from a 16oz can into a new glarus 30th anniversary mug. pours a foggy, dull gold to light, light copper with a dense off-white foam head. bready malt sweetness with expressive lager yeast. this may be “hopped up” but i get none of that on the nose. taste follows the nose with a noticeable bitter finish, which i can only assume is the amped up hops. it’s still really tasty and refreshing. not exactly crushable but i dig how sturdy this beer is at 5.1%. thick, full mouthfeel. appropriately carbonated. smooth. been a while since i’ve had a dovetail can and i really enjoyed this one.

Thanks to Samkuhgee for this one, from the recent Can Cans BIF. 16oz can (no date) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a cloudy, barely translucent, orange-amber color with 3 inches(!!!!!!) of just off-white head that had very long lasting retention and very low lacing.
The aroma had a sweet malt base, with a nice hit of floral hops on top.
Very similar on the tongue, sweet malt base and contrasting hops.
The body was medium-light, smooth, carried great carb, and had a medium finish.
Drinkability was very good, a nice easy quaffer.
Overall, an interesting brew that's worth a shot if you see it.

Cloudy amber with two fingers of white head and lacing. Citrus hops with light toast, cereal and caramel malts, and grass. Taste is sweeter than the nose with lots of citrus hops but no bitters, bread more than toast with cereal and lightly caramel malts. Certainly malt forward in feel, well made and smooth, but hops are felt too. Highly drinkable.
