Yields a slightly unfiltered nut brown color with a huge, stable eggshell colored head.
Offers aromas of sweet caramel and rustic toffee among a light note of garden herbs.
This has a mellow initial mouthfeel with a lovely softness to it, which then turns almost surprisingly refreshing due to an uprising, later effervescence.
Tastes of a flowery rustic maltiness with a lingering dryness to it, while developing a caramel sweetness at the same time. Offers bakers chocolate then, together with a well pronounced noble, garden herb bitterness, developing a great balance and intensity at the same time. Finishes even more focused on the hops with an utmost pleasant rustic and sweet malt backbone.
This is a great Sticke. It begins malt forward, lovely and sweet and then just happens to become incredibly dry, together with a noble spiciness and a balancing rusticness. The versatility is this is just mind blowing, switching the beer‘s focus entirely in a playful, perfectly balanced way.

Appearance - The beer was a lighter brown with visible carbonation and a generous head.
Smell - The nose had notes of sweetness with dry notes.
Taste - At the front were notes of brown sugar, cherries, prunes, and nuts. It was almost like liquid trail mix. The finish was somewhat dry with notes of tobacco.
Mouthfeel - The body had some stickiness even with aggressive carbonation.
Overall - This was delightful!

Dark brown with a nice tan head. Aroma is bready with some dark fruit. Taste is similar with a bit of a hop kick in the finish. Medium to light body. I don't know anything about Sticke Altbiers, but I know I love this beer.

16 ounce can into a stange glass. Canned 2/14/23, had 4/26/23.
Pours a medium brown color, hazy, with most of the glass a foamy head on the first pour and lots of foamy lacing. Great retention, too. Aromas of bread, caramel, malt, an herbal and floral aroma. Smells a little spicy. Flavors of malt, caramel, herbal and lightly floral hops, less bread than the nose, light fig, a decent amount of hop bitterness. Tastes a little spicy. Smooth, a very good lighter medium body, well carbonated.
A terrific example of the style. The strong hop presence was a pleasant and positive surprise. Bold aromas and flavors. Very enjoyable.

Served in a 0,3l stange glass at the brewery.
Dark mahogany tone, ample meringue foam that lasts with plenty of sticky lacing. Pleasant aroma of dried fig and plum, malty bread crusts.
Smooth and malt forward, dark bread crust, fig jam, with a balancing dry bitter finish. Creamy feel with a medium body and chewy texture. Substantial and a satisfying beer all around.

Opaque brown body with a billowing tan head and plenty of lacing. Estery earth grain with the yeast dominate the nose with dried dark fruit accents. Taste brings out earthy and crusty brown bread with biscuit more but hops are strong for style here on the last third of the sip. Feel is nice with the rising yeast and dry body, but hops again are sharp for style but not as unbalanced as taste because here the malt base is present more. Clearly new world but solid
