Good NEIPA. Poured from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass. this beer featured a very hazy dense pale-yellow color and a small white foamy head. Head retention was somewhat better than average and there was some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste included some grapes, mild tropical fruit, biscuity malt and a surprisingly good bitterness. Mouthfeel was crisp and moderately bitter. I found it quite enjoyable

Glass: Pure Project 3rd anniversary 14-oz. Teku glass
Price: $20 for three Humble Sea beers (part of $80 monthly deal for three 4-packs)
From: Humble Sea Brewing Company in Santa Cruz, Calif.
Purchased: n/a; Received: June 28, 2022
Consumed: July 16, 2022
Misc.: Canned on June 9, 2022; Split (1/4) with Sonny (1/4) and Kevin (2/4)
Untappd description for this one was a “DDH Foggy IPA with Citra, Galaxy and Pacific Jade.”
Poured a light golden foggy (has to be foggy because it’s Humble Sea) color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Pretty calm underneath the head with no noticeable bubbles. Good spotty lacing. Decent spotty retention. (Sight - 3.75)
The Galaxy jumped out in the nose with Citra next and Pacific Jade in the background. Some notes that jumped out were passion fruit, grape, mango, bug spray, grapefruit, peach and herbal. More passion fruit from the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose but close. In order got Galaxy, grape, passion fruit, mango, peach, red grapefruit, Citra, bug spray, herbal, black pepper and Pacific Jade (looking at hop profile). (Taste - 3.75)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, slightly bitter finish. (Feel - 4.00)
This was very good overall although I think I slightly underrated it. (Overall - 3.75)

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little nice lacing.
S: Citrus zest, spicy slightly herbal notes, tropical and stone fruit work their way to the front, biscuity malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
T: Zesty citrus, tangerine, lime, grapefruit, and lemon, tropical fruit, passion fruit, mango, apricot, peach, and a hint of pineapple, peppery spice, faint floral notes towards the back end, biscuity malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
M: A touch on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Hazy, but it's still got a nice hoppy bite to it. Good stuff.
