Pours a pineapple color. 3 finger very fluffy white head. Retention is amazing, almost too good. Some lacing on the glass.
The nose is a tropical citrus aroma. Pineapple is there. Some grapefruit as well. I also get a hint of lime and lemon.
Taste - Hoppy is the best word to describe this. I'm getting a lot of lime and lemon up front. The grapefruit and pineapple are more on the backside.
It is a "dry" feeling beer. It is also full bodied.
A solid, and very tasty IIPA!

Poured from a tall-boy can into my Bruery tulip.
Opaque, light marigold liquid with half a finger of seashell foam. Creamy, rich lacing; good retention.
Light aromatics - kumquat, lime, and passion fruit perhaps. Rather indistinct.
Creamy, citrus-laden palate entry with hints of orange blossom and guava. Low bitterness. Very soft malt notes (maybe some oats?). Rather sweet finish, full of melon. Strata seems to dominate the flavor.
Soft, pillowy mouthfeel - not quite chalky. ABV is well concealed.
Inoffensive, NE-influenced, NZ-hopped...tasty, but not worth the price ($7.99/can).
