16oz can served in a footed pilsner glass. Dated 11/10/21. Received from @Beersnake1 in a LIF associated with NBS BIF #14.
Pours dark brown with a big fluffy head that collapses slowly into a fairly large, very creamy looking head. Smell is yeast, grain tea, maybe a little grassiness. Surprised I'm not getting more roasted grain stuff -- there's a little bit of dark toast, but not much.
Taste brings in the dark roasty flavors. Light to medium coffee, hint of burnt sugar, roasted grains. Moderate grainy sweetness, light yeast, little bit of a grassy hoppy bitterness at the end.
Mouthfeel is light and dry with a slight chalkiness. Overall, this is quite good and I'm enjoying it.
