Stopped at San Diego Wine & Beer Company on the way home from a work function. Intended to pick up six cans to get the 10 pct. off but almost $60 later I came away with eight cans. I love Humble Sea’s hazy triple IPAs so was looking forward to this one. Back of the can read “Hop Fused Foggy TIPA with Nectaron, Mosaic and Centennial.” Sounded interesting.
Poured a bright golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Could not see any bubbles coming up the sides of the glass. Outstanding spotty lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled Mosaic, Juicy Fruit, floral, mixed berry, Nectaron, peach, nectarine, white grape and hints of melon. Really nice. (Smell - 4.75)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. In order got Nectaron, nectarine, peach, Mosaic, floral and mixed berry. So damn smooth for 10 pct. ABV. (Taste - 4.75)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 4.75)
Just an absolute banger. It’s almost perfect. (Overall - 4.75)
