Untappd description was “We’ve loved all the beers Ghost Town has been putting out, especially their WC IPAs, so we combined processes and recipe styles to create a nice cohesion between the two breweries. Multiple domestic base malts along with a touch of wheat, whole cone Strata in the mash along with various types of Mosaic hop products hot side including cryo and incognito. Dry hopped two separate times with a combo of Mosaic cryo, Nectaron and Strata.”
Poured a medium yellow color with 4-to-5 fingers of rocky white head. Could see lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom and sides of the glass, kind of looking like a snow globe. Perfect layered foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 5.00)
Smelled Nectaron, Strata, dank weed, pineapple, Mosaic, mixed berry, passion fruit, mango, stone fruit, floral and wet grass. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted Nectaron, Strata, dank weed, passion fruit, pineapple, Mosaic, viney mixed berry, mango, stone fruit, floral, wet grass and dish soap. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, slightly bitter finish. (Feel - 4.50)
This was a really good beer. What a nice West Coast IPA. (Overall - 4.25)
