Untappd description for this one was a “DDH West Coast IPA with Strata, Mosaic & Nectaron.” I was looking forward to that hop combo.
Poured a mostly clear medium yellow color with three fingers of rocky-to-frothy white head. Got plenty of bubbles coming up from the bottom and sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Strata jumped out on the nose. Also black pepper, dry grass, dank weed, peach skin, apricot, Nectaron, Mosaic, Juicy Fruit gum, floral, mango, grapefruit, pineapple, onion and hay. Even better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. Definitely a West Coast IPA. In order got Strata, dank weed, dry grass, black pepper, peach skin, Nectaron, nectarine, Mosaic, Juicy Fruit gum, citrusy orange, floral, mango, grapefruit peel, pineapple, onion, garlic and hay. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, spicy finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Really liked this one for a West Coast IPA. (Overall - 4.25)
