Type: 16-oz. can

Glass: Pure Project 14-oz. snifter elemental (earth) glass
Price: $20 for three Humble Sea beers (part of $80 monthly deal for three 4-packs)
From: Humble Sea Brewing Company in Santa Cruz, Calif.
Purchased: n/a; Received: June 28, 2022
Consumed: July 23, 2022
Misc.: Canned on June 13, 2022; Split (1/4) with Sonny (1/4) and Kevin (2/4)
Untappd description for this one was a “DDH West Coast IPA Strata, Mosaic & Vic Secret. Brewed with Idaho grown barley and a touch of wheat for added body, heavily hopped hot side with all Mosaic for an assertive bitterness. First dry hop with 100% Mosaic and second dry hop with equal parts Mosaic/Strata/Vic Secret for a nice current day West Coast IPA that is dry, crispy, moderate to heavy bitterness, and just the right amount of fruit tones from the hops.”
Poured a medium yellow clear color with 3-to-4 fingers of rocky-to-frothy white head. Could see plenty of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. World-class uneven foamy lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled cotton candy, pear, apple, lime, floral, pink lemonade, viney berry, strawberry, mango, purple grape and plum. For mentioned hops, in order got Vic Secret, Mosaic and Strata. A little better out of the can. (Smell - 3.75)
The taste was not as good as the nose. Vic Secret stood out, followed by Strata and Mosaic. Specifically got viney berry, cotton candy, chewy caramel, pear, apple, melon, lime, dank pine, pink lemonade, strawberry, mango, purple grape and lingering black pepper. (Taste - 3.50)
Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, bitter finish. (Feel - 3.75)
Not one of my favorite Humble Sea beers for sure. Probably would not have it again. (Overall - 3.75)
