Untappd description for this one was a “DDH West Coast IPA with Nelson, Riwaka and Galaxy.”
Poured a medium yellow clear color with four fingers of white rocky head. Could see plenty of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. Excellent uneven foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Riwaka jumped out on the nose, followed by Galaxy and Nelson. Also viney berry, grapefruit, passion fruit, peach, trash, green vegetable, grass and white grape. Smelled a little better out of the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose. In order got Riwaka, grapefruit, viney berry, passion fruit, peach, white grape, Galaxy, trash, Nelson, green vegetable, grass and chewy caramel. (Taste - 3.50)
Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, dry finish. (Feel - 4.00)
This was good overall, but not something I’d need to have again. (Overall - 3.75)
