Untappd description for this one was a “Back from the Shred (6.5%) DDH Foggy IPA with Citra, Nelson and Riwaka.”

Poured a light golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of white frothy head. Could see lots of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass, kind of looking like a snow globe. World-class uneven foamy lacing. World-class foamy retention. (Sight - 4.50)

Smelled Riwaka, grapefruit, green grape, grass, Citra, pineapple, bug spray, dish soap, citrus zest, hints of Nelson, tangerine and light caramel. Smelled a litter better out of the can. (Smell - 3.75)

Tasted about as good as the nose. In order got Riwaka, kumquat, grapefruit, Tang, tangerine, Citra, Nelson, stone fruit, peach, orange rind, green grape, pineapple, bug spray, black pepper, dish soap and hints of caramel. Seemed a little boozier than 6.5 pct. ABV. (Taste - 3.75)

Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, citrusy finish. (Feel - 4.00)

This was very good overall. Definitely getting used to Riwaka but I don’t think it’s one of my favorite hops. (Overall - 3.75)

Poured from pint can into shaker pint glass.
A: Pours an extremely hazy lemon yellow hue with 1 inch frothy white head with excellent retention.
S: Orange cream, sweet grapefruit, mango, and subtle lemon and caramel malt.
T: Orange cream, mango, sweet grapefruit and caramel malt. Subtle lime.
M: Light medium body. Mildly bitter hops with citrus and tropical sweetness. Slightly creamy and juicy feel.
D: Decent example of style, but nothing exciting or stupendous. Wish the malt note wasn’t quite so noticeable.

Canned 11/7/23. “Kooks since forever” stamped on the bottom of the can

I’ve only had one beer from Humble Sea before and I was quite impressed by it. They’re on my radar now, so obviously I picked this one up when I saw it on Tavour. Let’s crack it open and see what it’s all about

Pours a hazy pale gold with 3 fingers of soapy off white head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves decent lacing

The nose is a bit sharp, but there’s still a decent balance of tropical notes. I’m picking up on aromas of lemon zest, pineapple juice, weedy hops, lime zest, bready malt, passionfruit, white pepper, and papaya

It’s also just a bit bland in taste but it’s bot bad. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting orange juice, bready malt, mango skin, grassy hops, lemon zest, and papaya. The swallow brings notes of bready malt, lime zest, floral hops, overripe cantaloupe, and orange juice

A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a slick beer. Finishes truly neutral and bland

This isn’t bad by any means, but it’s painfully average. I’ll still give Humble Sea another shot since the other one impressed me so much
