16 oz can

Pours a clear light yellow golden, thick layer of fluffy white head. Good head retention. Clean crackery malt aroma. Similar taste, short finish, easy drinking. Thin to medium bodied with a softer mouthfeel

16oz tallboy can poured into dimpled mug.

canned on date of 9/21/22.

Appearance: Pale golden yellow bodied beer with bone white head that stacks up tall, bubbly, & well frothed with great staying power on the head. Eventually the Head drops down to a thin cap.

Smell: fresh baked bread and perhaps some cracker aromas. fruity yeast. This smells very clean and very fresh.

Taste: bread with honey in malt profile. fruity yeast in the middle. Spicy & herbal noble hops in the finish that add complexity without adding much if any bitterness to the beer.

Mouthfeel: Soft and delicate textured beer. light bodied beer with moderate carbonation levels. Very sessionable.

Overall: This is a well done Kolsch. Another example of excellant crispy beer brewed by Fox Farm.

16oz can courtesy of Roguer. Canned on September 21, 2022, per the stamp on the bottom of the can.

Poured into a glass, this was a clear, golden amber color, with so many tiny bubbles on the sides of the glass I was reminded of Don Ho. World class clarity. Decent sized off-white head. Streaky, spotty lace.

Bready and slightly sweet up front. There's a very light citrusy note as well.

Lightly citrusy and lightly grainy in the flavor department. Modestly crisp and dry at the finish, making the next sip a certainty.

Medium bodied, with a slightly crisper mouth feel than you usually get with a top fermenting beer.

Man, I'd love to hit this on a warm summer day. Perfect beer for such an occasion, and it ain't bad on a December night when it's 28F with freezing fog. Again, FF for the win. Really beginning to like that brewery. Thanks, Andrew!

After years of IPA snobbery, I am rediscovering lagers. This is a good one!
Look: clear pale yellow with a 1” head. Good lacing. Head dissipates quickly, otherwise very nice
Smell: yes, bread, malt
Taste: minimal bitterness. Very smooth. Very mild bitterness
Feel: so smooth
Overall: 2 1/2 hour drive to the brewery. WHY DIDNT I BUY MORE!!!!!!!

Pours a clear yellow color with two fat fingers of off-white head. Moderate retention and sudsy lacing.

Sweet, lightly bready aroma. Slight hints of mint and sulfur.

A little less sweet and more bready in the taste, with some mild bitterness in the finish for balance, lingering into the aftertaste.

Medium bodied with tight, zippy carbonation.

Very well-balanced and easy drinking, even approaching three months old. 10/13/21 canned on date.

Light golden yellow color with white cap and lacing. The cap is attractive but doesn't last very long.

Aroma of light bready malt laced with citrus and touched with white pepper.

Taste of fresh yeast rolls that have been misted with some sort of dry old fortified fruit wine. This theme is supported by a solid malt structure which supports the whole. The finish is crisp, short and refreshing.

Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

Clean and crisp, overall this ale manages to blend complex flavors into a seamless whole with just enough hop bite to keep things in balance.

L: Pours a beautiful, crystal clear pale straw color. A semi-vigorous pour results in three fingers of fine, white head with good retention. As I drink the beer it leaves a nice spotty lacing on the glass.

S: Bread crust and a lighter grainy malt character, light floral and herbaceous notes, a very light note of citrus rind, a hint of spiciness, and notes of apple and pear.

T: On the front end I get pear, green apple, light notes of green grape flowing into the middle palate where they mix with a grainy sweetness lending to a honey bread crust quality. The backend is lemon, floral, and herbaceous with a bit of earthy spice coming in on the finish contributing a very light bitterness. There is a light residual sweetness in the finish, though.

F: Light to medium-light body with a medium-high carbonation. The mouthfeel is smooth but effervescent and a bit prickly with a nice dryness on the finish. This is refreshing to drink, a crusher so to speak.

O: Smells German? Check. Looks German? Check. Tastes German? Check. Feels German? Check. Is it really German? No! Can you get it Fresh? Occasionally...which is more than I can say for most imported Kölschs. Highly recommended!

Thanks to Roy_Hobbs for this one, from a recent ninja box. 16oz can (dated 10/28/20, I think) into 14oz teku. poured a cloudy medium yellow color with an inch of white head that had good retention and light-medium lacing.

Nice earthy grains were at the front of the scent, with floral hops in the background.

Pretty similar on the tongue, the hops showing through a bit more, and having a touch of spice.

The body was medium, smooth, and had a medium-dry finish.

drinkability was very good, I could easily drink a bunch of these.

Overall, a very nice brew. a must-try if you see it.
