Super Juicy IPA that feeds off of local wildflower honey and fresh Galaxy hops. Intense aromas of tropical fruit with hints of honey, it's the little bro to the big boy Fresh Lobster that y'all know well by now.

On tap at Nickel’s Pit BBQ in Watkins Glen, NY.
This one pours a fairly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like pulpy orange citrus, grapefruit, honey, and pine.
This is a pretty paradigmatic NE-style IPA – it tastes exactly like I would expect it. The honey adds a nice candied citrus thing to it, with pineapple, grapefruit, and orange, and just a touch of bitterness.
This is medium bodied, creamy, and pretty drinkable.
Aurora is pretty dependable for this style.

Pours a hazy gold. Thick foam. Tropical fruit aroma. Buttery hop body. Slightly sweet bitter finish. Juicy. Good flavor. Easy drinking.

16 oz can acclimated to 48.5°F and poured into an IPA glass.
Pours hazy, light gold orange, with light colored sediment, really looks like honey, actually. Produces a 1 finger sudsy white head, dissipating quickly and leaving short lived lacing.
Initial aroma is juicy and citrussy, the smell you expect from a NEIPA. Pine and grass notes are present too, as is honey, I picture from the smell specifically crystallized and/or waxy, and it smells like orange blossom honey. After agitating I'm met with a buzzy floral note and a stronger honey, with the other previous notes in the background.
Initial taste before swallowing is hop bitter and juiciness and a kiss of honey. After swallowing it's a very uniform taste and experience. Low bitterness throughout, pleasantly sweet, faint taste of honey, and some pine. The only thing that changes with time is that I get a little bite of hops and amber tasting malt upon taking it into my mouth, and they return in the aftertaste, otherwise there are really no layers here. This is not a negative, as it fortifies the already high drinkability. Noteworthy is that the aftertaste is splendid, the honey taste blooms when I let it sit a while without drinking, and feels soft, sweet, malty, and just lovely. Additionally there is not at all a hint in taste or sensation that it's over the average ABV.
Mouthfeel is delightful, I've never known an example more deserving of the word buttery. It's moistening when taking it down, leaving a satisfaction like msg. It's gentle too, sort of pillowy or fluffy, just feels very good to drink.
Overall this one is wonderful. I think the best thing about it is that it's so good in multiple categories, but remains simple and doesn't overwhelm. It's a joy to drink, infatuating, but not enrapturing. The taste is great but doesn't require me to think too hard at it. This melds seamlessly with a texture of joy. A well rounded and drinkable example of greatness that doesn't attempt to conquer the entire map.
I see this as being excellent for spring months, not hot but warm. I would drink it in other weather too, though. It strikes me mostly as a beer for easy going and quiet days to further foster relaxation and contentment. Just the same as the beer, in my mind perfection for good and happy but over the top, I don't see it as being for days of ecstasy or great accomplishment.
This will be a regular purchase, for sure. I am excited to recommend it as well.

Little Lobster
Aurora Brewing Co. IPA- New England / Hazy
Piney and a flat citrus hop flavor upfront. The wild honey is also very obvious, providing a sweet and tangy tinge. Lime and honeydew melon in the nose. A crispy body and feel for the style with minimal smooth edges. Grassy lime style finish.
Purchased at Monadnock Food Co-op

16oz can. An easy-drinking, juicy IPA that introduces warm and spicy wildflower honey to tangy peach, guava and citrus Galaxy hops. Not a stand-out but complex and enjoyable. Lacks aroma (unusual for Galaxy hops) and would prefer it at a lower ABV.
