Opaque and dull, dark orange body; incredibly dense and creamy head, sculpted and billowy; sticky. Very tropical and citrus aroma; orange and pineapple. Bold hop and citrus flavors; muted orange; dull sweetness; low-key hop bitterness. Heavy body; smooth and velvety with a citric bite.

This is a good 'n'...

A: The beer is very hazy and a darker shade of yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge and lots of lacy rings of bubbles around the edges of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of lime citrus are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of lychee towards the finish. A light to moderate amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount fo carbonation.
O: This beer has the depth of hop aromas and flavors that you would expect from a Double IPA with the drinkability of a IPA.

Faded orange body with a plump cream head and thick lacing. Huge orange, grapefruit, melon rind, lychee, and pine hops lead the nose with background peach and general pith. Taste is much the same with the fruits, plus some funky guava and tangerine, up front in a somewhat juicy and somewhat resinous fashion, then the cascade of hops rains down upon the palate in a full yet crisp manner, very satisfying. Feel is bright but sneaky heavy, somewhat resinous and dank but if anything more classically hoppy. Very nice dipa

Another Tavour box has landed! They should call it Christmas Tavour. 16 oz. can.

The pour is mildly cloudy yellow-orange with failing chunks drifting down & out of sight on the bottom of the glass (I’m sure to emerge later on my tongue). The nose is sharp OJ with pulp, unsweetened, bitter. Promising.

Citra Double Crush is a back straightener. There are the classic elements of Shakespeare & the NE IPA here – papaya, lemon, unfiltered orange juice with a backing of white sugar. But there’s traditional IPA in there too – sharp bitterness, raw hops that make the tongue tingle. Thick & slightly slurry. In an unusual move, 16 ounces is the correct serving.

Nicely done. Blurring the line between competing rap coasts, these beats swing. Or something. I’m white, forgive me. Really good brew bordering on excellent.

Getting papaya, orange, and mango up front with a bit of creaminess throughout. A little sides of the tongue lingering bitterness and just the right amount of maltiness and liquor burn to end.

Super cloudy dark orange with a fat finger of lightly yellowed head. Decent retention and thick rings of lacing.

Big, creamy orange and mango in the nose with tropical flowers behind. Maybe a hint of strawberry-banana tropical Starburst, too.

Really creamy tasting. More tropical than citrusy to my palate; definitely more mango-forward than the aroma. Some burnt herb in the finish balanced against the sweetness.

Thick-bodied, creamy feel with tight carbonation.

A very nice tropical Double NEIPA balanced somewhat with some light herbal bitterness.

Sweet tropical citrus hoppy nose!!! I was really impressed with the aromatics. Taste follows really with an explosion of a tropical bitter kick on the swallow that lingers. It has good depth and feel on the palate.

I'm not a big fan of the NE hazies, but I really do like this one. The Citra hops really shine. There's grapefruit, of course, and a bit of bitterness. The beer is very smooth and creamy. Quite delightful.

Look: Bright orange murky body, light in terms of head formation, but average on retention; little lacing.
Smell: Mango, papaya and tangerines; very fruity and pungent aroma.
Taste: This is a DDH Citra-based beer, and the Citra hops genuinely shine. Overall, the taste complements the nose, with big flavors of tropical fruits, and a small hint of melon. Great taste for those who like their Citra hops (and who doesn't like Citra?).
Feel: Spot-on NEIPA. Medium body, creamy texture, medium carbonation (surprisingly after the weak head formation), no apparent booze.
Overall: A glorious showcase of the Citra hops.

Canned 1/15/19. Consumed from teku glass.
L: Pours a murky golden straw yellow in color. About a finger of a dense off-white head that retained nicely. Heaps of residual sudsy lacing clings to the glass as I partake. The lacing bumps it up from 4.25 to a 4.5.
S: Citrus and tropical fruits definitely comprises the majority of the smell, but I am getting a decent amount of flaked oats aromas. Heavy on citrus- primarily grapefruit and orange, along with passion fruit, guava, papaya, banana and mango. The oat presence lends a bready sweetness that makes my mouth water.
T: Damn delicious, and the citra undoubtedly shines. The perfect combo of citrus and tropical fruit flavor reminding me of pink starburst candy. The citrus flavor is most prevalent initially, but the tropical aspect kicks in towards the finish. Beginning is orange and grapefruit, while the finish is guava, passionfruit, mango, pineapple, papaya and oat flavor. Very low bitterness overall, making this a straight juice bomb. Aftertaste has a long life span, with lingering fruit sweetness and bready residual oat flavor. Hop presence is minimal, bar-none.
F: Perfection to me. Soft, pillowy, smooth and outright heavenly. Carbonation resides somewhere between low to moderate, providing the slightest fizzle on the tongue. ABV is not detectible, allowing me to drink at a rate of 1 oz per minute.
O: Second stellar IPA from Moonraker today, again topping my list of favorites from them. The feel honestly is the icing on the cake. Can't get enough of that pillowy goodness. I am very grateful to have tried, and definitely would revisit. Citra is a winning hop in the NEIPA category. Cheers!

On tap at Tin Bucket the other day.

The pours a hazy golden amber color with good head retention and lacing. The nose is pretty impressive in this beer, as I pick up considerable tropical fruit, pithy grapefruit, and some noticeable dankness and light pine. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely, though I thought it a bit simple and one dimensional on the palate. Still, the beer delivers a lot of flavor, and there's some noticeable bitterness in the finish that helps to keep things interesting (and tends to balance the sweet tropical fruit pretty nicely). Alcohol is well integrated into the flavor profile, and so drinkability is pretty good in this beer.

A nice enough hazy DIPA, though I'm not sure I understand some of the extremely high ratings for this beer. It's a very nice DIPA, but not what I would call/consider a standout.
