Mosaic, Ekuanot, and Simcoe hops contribute flavors and aromas of passion fruit, peach, evergreen with a hint of spice. A Pilsner base malt provides a cracker bread finish.

Canned on July 4th, 2019 consumed on August 4th, 2019. Poured from a tall-boy can into my Bruery tulip.

Turbid golden-maize body with a half finger of magnolia soft peaks. Rich yet fine soapy lacing; decent retention on first-pour - becoming excellent with a final, slightly more vigorous pour.

Herbaceous/fruity/juicy/dank aroma with cannabis, bubble-gum, tropical fruit candy, and white grapefruit.

Scallion, nectarine, orange, grapefruit zest, soursop, with hints of strawberry/blueberry and low herbal notes. Subdued, faintly grainy, two-row base malt backbone is just there to frame the hops. Juicy, but not too sweet - well attenuated, nearly dry finish. Not quite moderate, linear bitterness. Was expecting more "lime" like flavors from the Eukanot, but they never did emerge.

Tangy, zesty, soft mouth-feel, nearly but never quite chalky. Nice balance between refreshing and warming.

Very good hazy double-IPA - not quite as potent or interesting as some others I've had, and not an exceptional value (at, I think nearly $6 for the can), but a decent dram none-the-less.

Gold and hazy with a sticky white head. Smells a little sweet with lots of pineapple and orange. Tastes sweet with a lot of pineapple and a nice orange finish. Nice bitterness and pretty clean finish. Very tasty beer.

Sweet tropical, slightly dank hoppy aromatics on this one! This one is nice and juicy...taste follows extremely well with a well-balanced, tropical, juicy, hop bite. Juicy and subtly sweet...but balanced out by the hoppy bitterness on the swallow. This is very, very nice on the palate...not creamy, but soft while still being medium-bodied! Good!

From tasting notes 02/18/18
Had on-tap at Moonraker Brewing in Auburn, CA

Appearance - Served in a nonic pint, hazy and dull yellow-orange with a broken island of suds found in the middle of the glass and a thin, broken line encircling the edge. Broken pattern of lacing found at the very top of the glass.

Smell - Dank pine, orange and grapefruit make up the nose.

Taste - Follows the nose, mostly. Hits first on juicy orange and grapefruit before some heavy dank pine comes in and takes over, holding firm before fading toward the finish. Citrus notes re-emerge along with some pithy bitterness and a hint of pineapple acidity.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a drying finish.

Overall - Decent NE DIPA, but I'd be lying if I said I like the pine character on display. With the sheer number of amazing hazys out there, several of which are on tap right here in this very room, I doubt I'd give this one a second go.

From a 16oz can, dated 02/15/18. Served in an imperial pint pub glass.

Pours a very hazy, semi-opaque honey-cantaloupe-gold colour with two-plus fingers pouffy, whipped cream-like lather. Eventually settles back to a big, rocky cap and fat, sticky, bubble-cratered lacing which stay with me for the duration.

Nose is sharp and malty with layers of fruity yeast. Tangerine, peach and pineapple.

Taste starts big, bready and boozy. The fruit character follows up after the full-on malty start with tons of overripe melon and notes of tangerine. Big and round, with minimal bitterness and a composty melon and sour booze finish

Feel is fat, flat and smooth, medium-hefty bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, a big, malty beast of a brew which feels even bigger than its stated 8.5% abv. After I finished writing my notes above I settled back and sipped at it and my appreciation of it grew somewhat. So, best enjoyed in small sips and while not operating heavy machinery.

Can dated 02/15/19 into a tulip glass.

L: Pours hazy yellow orange with 1 finger of medium density white head with moderate retention and left mixed ringed/windshield lacing.

S: Nose is heavy on papaya and grapefruit, floral aspects follow, and seems to be some subtle earthy undertones and maybe a hint of guava.

T: Follows the nose well, more citrus and floral prominence. Finishes with limited bitterness and moderate astringency, both clear quickly.

F: Low-medium bodied, medium carbonation, silky on the tongue but with some tingling from the astringency and carbonation.

O: It's another solid recipe from Moonraker, but there's not a wow factor. I definitely really enjoyed the brew, but have others from them that I prefer.
