A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries are present in the nose along with notes of limes.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of flavors of gooseberries along with notes of lime and hints of spiciness, the latter of which lingers into the finish.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied, juicy, and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This New England IPA was very juicy both and had bold aromas and flavors of Citra hops.

Pours looking like pineapple juice, small head with decent retention and lots of lacing. Citrus/tropical fruit aroma is a bit too subdued. Taste is much more pronounced - good, even blend between fruity & dank floral/weedy. Feel is the best part, very smooth & creamy with fantastic body. Overall, Moonraker still has the hazy formula, especially with DIPAs.

Sweet, citrus-juicy, hint of tropical, hoppy nose on this one! A little dankness is in the aromatics if I try hard enough. Taste follows with a sweet, orange-citrus, bitter finish that is well-balanced initially. As it warms, though, the citrus bitterness becomes just a tad overcooked for my palate. It probably just needs a little more time to settle in as this was canned just a few days ago. It has fantastic depth and outstanding mouthfeel! The swallow is so soft-on-the-palate...Great!

On tap at beer o'clock today.

The beer pours a golden, hazy amber color with good head retention and lacing. The nose is attractive, as I pick up tropical fruit, lime and lemon rind. The flavor profile replicates the nose pretty closely, with the beer drying out nicely on the finish. There's some decent bitterness on the finish which enhances the beer's drinkability. Mouthfeel is fairly light for an 8.5% abv. Dipa, though there's plenty of flavor. Alcohol is well integrated into the flavor profile.

A nice dipa for sure, though I'm having a hard time understanding the price point ($6 for an 8 ounce pour). There are plenty of dipas on the market as good or better than this beer. Given the price point, it's unlikely I'll order this again.

Poured into a chalice. A hazy bright golden color with a thick white head. Great citrus and tropical aroma. The taste followed with huge fruity citrus and tropical flavor. Delicious.

This beer pours with a murky bright yellow color. The body is quite opaque, though not the murkiest I've seen — a tad bit of light can pass through the bottom portion of the glass. Excellent head formation with 1.5 fingers of a bright white frothy head made up of bubbles of differing uniformity. Head retention is about average for the style, as is the lacing on the glass. Smell is quite pungent and very tropical, and full of various citrusy notes, along with pineapple and maybe papaya. Smell follows the nose well, this is indeed a juice bomb. Galaxy + Citra FTW! You all know the expected taste notes, no need to list them here. Feel is a spot-on NEIPA with medium carbonation, not a hint of alcohol and creamy texture. Overall, this is fantastic. This is probably my favorite IPA from Moonraker.

Pretty good for a filtered IPA from CA. Smooth but not creamy, not bitter. If I did not grow up on Aslin I'd prob love it. Of the filtered IPAs ive tried this is top 5

Very nice Hazy Double IPA. Citra and Mango gives it some great tropical mango juice taste with some pineapple. Tropical fruit smell, not real upfront though. Mellow mouth feel. One of their better Double NE IPAs.

This is delicious. Cloudy, hazy glass of grapefruit juice. The aroma is sweet grapefruit juice, mango and other tropical fruit with pine. The taste is lightly sweet, full of mango and grapefruit with a pithy grapefruit and pine finish. Great carbonation and smooth creamy mouthfeel. Excellent beer.

Draught pint at brewery.

L: murky faded bronze yellow, thin ring of white head with decent retention

S: Peach, mango, passionfruit, perhaps some guava, but all tropical

T: more dynamic than nose, adds in some citrus, no bubblegum from the Galaxy. Low bitterness but plenty of astringency which lingers a bit.

F: Medium bodied, higher carbonation, lively on the tongue while also slightly chalky.

O: Solid recipe, not a home run for my palate and preferences, but I'd happily drink again.
