16 oz can.

Pours a hazy pale gold color with a 2 finger effervescent white head. Good head retention. Leaves a crown of cobweb lacing around the glass.

Aromas of passion fruit, mango, grapefruit, and peach. There's a bit of pineapple and mixed berries.

Very citrusy flavor, namely lemon and grapefruit, followed by a wave of mango, pineapple, stone fruit and passion fruit. Has an herbal, grassy finish.

The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Creamy and smooth and dry on the finish.

Overall, this is a great NEIPA that wonderfully showcases 3 of my favorite hops. It's also scarily drinkable.

Just when you thought you've reviewed all 245 ipas from Moonraker, another one from your old timeline pops up. Hazy and yellow gold all the way, 1/2" white head. For what it is (about the ugliest style of beer), it looks fine.

Amarillo and Mosaic team up in the nose, Mosaic does the heavy lifting, berries, tropical fruit, hay, lemongrass seem to be the major players in the nose.

Taste, yet another banger, good lush guava, lemongrass, pine, berry, passion fruit kind of notes to it. Firm enough bitterness from Simcoe and help with a drier mouth feel. I would guess this is around 50ibu in real life. As usual, Moonraker has done a bang up job at making 8.5% super crushable. Easy buzz to acquire here. Doesn't have much of a flaked feel to it,

I dig the reference, kind of wish there was something more akin artwise to the inspiration, but I get it, you don't wanna get sued by someone's estate or record label. Anyways, another banger from Moonraker.

A: The beer is very hazy and a bit pale yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grapefruit and orange citrus are present in the nose along with notes of herbal hops.
T: The taste has flavors of lime citrus with hints of orange citrus, herbs and stone fruit. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this beer to be easier to drink compared to what I originally expected given its alcohol content.

Packaged 2/13/2019; consumed on 3/17/2019 - poured from a tall-boy can into my Bruery tulip.

Hazy but not quite turbid golden poppy liquid with a smattering of champagne foam, receding to a fine collar and faint surface slick. Vague legs, mediocre retention.

Citrus, tropical, and berry notes in the nose - sweet, juicy, and bright with faint hints of scallion and bubble gum.

Orange, lime soda, grapefruit zest, and leek greens on the palate. Medium finish. Gentle bitterness (hard to believe this is even close to 70 IBUs) and low biscuit notes throughout. Soft neutral yeast.

Creamy, decent carbonation, well concealed alcohol.

Decent "NE style" Imperial IPA, but rather subdued over-all.

Wow. Wow. Think of something epic. Like King Kong crawling up a skyscraper. Or maybe the first time a girl let you touch her bra. This thing is gigantic and monumental on ALL levels. Huge and lush, lush and huge, this thing delivers like your mailman even when it’s sprinkling! I mean, this is the real deal!

Raul can’t go on.

This is a well balanced hazy IPA. Good nose of sweet tropical hoppiness. The swallow is nice and smooth. The bitter kick at the end seems a bit oversized for this hazy..

This pours the color of glowing lemonade, with thin foaming. First thing I noticed was the aroma as I cracked the can open. The aroma fades off, but there’s still a pleasant citrusy note to it, undercut with hints of pine. Smooth, sweetish, but far from spectacular.

Canned 10 Oct, bought at The Beermongers.

A hazy light yellow with a dense, white head that falls off rapidly leaving nice lacing, this looks solid. The nose is rather muted with peach, orange tang, starburst, lemon and a touch of vanilla. There's also some citrus notes present. The palate opens moderately juicy with lemon, raw mango, passionfruit, and a little grass. The mid-palate has a dry, chewy feel to it, with green grape and a little raw papaya salad. Drying on the finish with a touch of alcohol, this beer is medium-light in body, softly carbonated and rather muddled. Thankfully not as grassy as the nose would suggest. Not worth the scratch IMO
