Had Sticky Bear poured from pint can, bottom stamped (likely) canned on "02/27/25" and "CHRONIC 4 BEARS," into nonic pint.
Pours straw-yellow with 1-finger, creamy near-white head, with excellent retention, leaving thick, splotchy rings of lace down the glass. Aromas of sweet orange and fresh berries off pour, then a little lime aroma, and as warms also aromas of growing and eventually dominant pine, dank herbals, and sweet stone fruit. On tasting, begins sweet pineapple and pear, then immediate biting lime, which carries over a very dry West Coast body, into growing bitter pine, with a little sweet berry, soon lost, and then into an extremely dry, moderately bitter finish.
A lot of fruit early, but ultimately a classically dry, piney, bitter West Coast IPA.
