Appearance: A thumb of head that did retain decently and produced some very minor lace. The body is a very pale yellow with a slight cloudiness, and carbonation is really low and slow.
Smell: Smells like sparkling wine with maybe a slight straw undertone to it. It's not unpleasant, but it's a bit boring. The potency is fine and it didn't require a lot of warming.
Taste: Straw malt with a hint of grape that turns a touch of sandy hops the finishes with a dry wine and slightly lemon finish.
Mouthfeel: Clean slate isn't quite appropriate on this one, as the dryness seems to carry on into the aftertaste and seems to accent the sandy aspect. That said, it is mild and I do like the transitioning on this one.
Drinkability: Very light bodied, but that dry note really hamstrings it's capacity to be refreshing. Fairly sedate, which is sort of impressive given it's ABV.
Final Thoughts: I can't help but feel like I'm drinking light sparkling wine, and given the only time I want to drink sparkling wine is at New Years or weddings, I really don't see when else I'd want to drink this. If you visit bench, I'd bypass this stuff and go for their Stone Road white, which is simply superior as a summer drinker.

On draft at a local.
Pours pale yellow, almost straw like. With fine streams of bubbles maintaining a steady head on the top of the beer perpetuating the aroma. Aroma rustic grains and Brett funk.
Flavours of green apple and slight winey like characteristics. Bitter mildly sweet finish. Overall a decent beer.
