Opaque straw haze in the glass. Ripe peaches & apricot on the nose, with mango and clean citrus flavors throughout. Dry finish. Overrun with invading hordes of Citra, Simcoe & Amarillo hops. Decapitated and delicious.

Too much head, too much murk, so there's plenty of oats spelling barley in the wort. The stark white foam on top is unattractive and as it recedes unevenly, less so. One thing about wheat worted brews is the head will last a long time. Same is going on here. Maybe it's blocked, because the initial pour of pint can into a clear glass Imperial pint mug produced this much foam; but, there's not much to smell. There's some flowery malt/ hop connection, but that's a stretch. There's no glass lacing to concur that there's no body here. Be it more likely wheat, since there's no body, or oats, which provide body without character, nothing can replace barley malt in an IPA. This is another failure at that attempt to do so. Drinkable(?) yes, Memorable(?) not so much. The hopping is mildly nice and good at hiding a potent ABV. The body is weak for the style. This is a no seek out, but no shun option.

Great looking can to start with - I’m a sucker for the art. This hazy brew pours like fresh squeezed orange juice. Ripe stone fruit on the nose of this juicy brew. Pillowy soft mouthfeel with mango and orange on the tongue. Very smooth for a DIPA. Bet this would be killer on tap!

L: A murky but translucent pale pineapple juice hue with a fizzy-looking ivory head with neither retention or lace.
S: Aroma is highly muted, but comes through as spicy orange and mango.
T: More on the tangerine and peach spectrum but earthy and spicy.
F: Obviously oated and smooth, but also really crushable considering the ABV. Impressive.
O: This one has its pros and cons, but I would drink it again for the things done right!

16oz can served in a big snifter. Dated 05-27-20.
Pours a very hazy milky yellow with a small head and little carbonation. Smell is very ripe mango or some other tropical fruit that is harder for me to name.
Taste is along the same lines as the smell -- but with a strong fruit-skin bitter aftertaste. Maybe a bit more juicy with subsequent sips. But that bitterness really builds up, too.
Mouthfeel is almost chalky, medium thickness. Overall, it's pretty good.

Poured from 16oz tall can into my BeerAdvocate teku. Canned on 5/27/20.
Appearance: richly hazy medium-yellow hue with a thick finger of frothy ivory foam atop. It looks very nice indeed!
Smell: orange creamsicle aroma with a little bit of earthiness and a little bit of sharp grapefruit. It's nice.
Taste: low bitterness. There's orange, yes, but also some earthy umami flavor that I really can't describe. It's not dank, per se ... just. Meaty. Unctuous. I like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I like this beer for its weirdness. The umami meatiness I described doesn't seem like a fermentation flaw, but more like the efforts of some heavy-ass hops. I'm into it.
