Featuring a brand new hop variety called Lotus, from the folks at Hopsteiner in Yakima. Pours hazy pale gold in the glass, with unique aromas & flavors of orange zest, fresh pineapple, soft vanilla, chamomile tea, smooth cedar, and green melon. A portion of the proceeds from this beer will be donated to our friends at Riverkeeper, in their efforts to protect the Hudson River & NYC’s drinking water supply.

Underrated so far IMO. Great mouthfeel, fragrance, and appearance.
It had something though - that set it off as different. Unique.

I imagine that taste is polarizing and you will love or hate this beer. I might agree with the other reviewer that it was papaya-like. As a fruit, I do not like papaya, but whatever the flavor it worked in this beer - for me.

16oz can served in a pint glass. If there's a date, I don't see it.

Pours a hazy pale whitish-amber with a smallish head and a lot of carbonation that almost seems suspended.

Smell is tropical juice and something...woody maybe? Reminded me initially of smoke, but definitely not smoke. Also, lots of resin.

Taste is a kind of funky guava/papaya -- not too sweet, not too bitter.

Mouthfeel is dry and quite light. Overall, good beer.
