Pours a deep dark mahogany with a caramel colored head
Chocolate, coffee, dark fruit, and roasted malt in the nose.
Fig and rum raisin balanced by bitter coffee and chocolate finishes dry with a faint note of raspberry.

L: A midnight brew with a two finger tan head settling down to a ring and wisp and a load of visible sediment coating the bottom of my teku.
S: Beautiful roasted malts and quality cold brew coffee. Vanilla and sweet caramel approach the forefront.
T: Exactly what I hope for in a coffee double. Neither side bowing to the other. Harmony and balance. Very espresso bitter on the aftertaste.
F: This much coffee character nearly always results in a painfully thin beer, yet somehow this one held on to some weight and mouthfeel!
O: I am impressed with KCBC’s offer here. A tier met by few for the style.
