DDH IPA. Pours burnished orange haze in the glass. Aggressively hopped with Citra, Motueka, Ekuanot and Zappa hops. Notes of ripe peach, pithy tangerine, spicy pine, and a fresh pack of Fruit Stripe gum. Soft-n-sweet up front with balanced herbal bitterness on the finish.

From the can it pours a very hazy, nearly opaque, orange color. A large foamy head retains well.
Juicy nose that displays notes of citrus and stone fruit, as well as floral and herbal aromatics. Aromas of peach, apricot, orange, tangerine, grapefruit and a touch of pine and grass.
Nice bright notes of freshly squeezed orange juice, tangerine and grapefruit pulp. Fruity flavors of peach and apricot amidst a neutral dry and crisp cracker malt backbone. The mouthfeel is smooth and soft with a dry and fruity finish. Developing herbal flavors evoke grass, pine and peppery spices, as well lime zest. Well balanced with a gentle bitterness throughout. Medium bodied with a gentle carbonation. smooth
This was a delightful and crushable IPA, the kind of juicy goodness I’ve grown accustomed to from KCBC.

S: Moderate aromas of eucalyptus are present in the nose along with notes of pine.
T: The taste has flavors of orange and lime citrus that are underscored by spicy notes of eucalyptus and pine. There is a light amount of bitterness.
