Pale straw in the glass, with a fluffy white head, soft herbal spice, balanced bitterness, and a touch of floral citrus. Brewed with a light base of premium pilsner malt, and hopped with Tettnang, Saaz and Celeia. Über crushable. On the hoppier side, for the style. Let’s hope they have lager in Hell.

Good Helles Lager. Poured from a 16oz. can into a pint glass, this beer featured a clear golden color that becomes slightly hazy with subsequent pours, and a small foamy white head, Head retention is about average and there are a few patchy spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste feature bready malt and mild grassy hops. Subdued flavors but still pretty good. Mouthfeel is soft and somewhat crisp, light but not watery. This one goes down real easy. Good with food and would make a good session beer

16oz can pours a golden yellow with plentfiul white head that fades to a thin layer. Smells of spicy hops and some honeyed malt. Taste is nice bready malts with a noticeable grassy flavor and a light fruit flavor remniscient of a sparkling wine. Small bitterness to close and a lighter body than normal for a Helles. Carbonation is very present in the mouthfeel.
Decent beer, but they experimented with the style a lot more than I was expecting. So don't expect a normal Helles experience.
