This beer was brewed to be more like Porters of old. It's very dark brown in color with an aroma of light smoke and wet tobacco as a result of the dry hopping. You'll find bittersweet dark chocolate and light roast in the flavor accompanied by a medium light body.

16oz can, tulip, canned 8/25/20.
Dark brown pour with little light. The head is mocha and fluffy but not long lasting.
Cocoa powder, a little spice, chocolate graham crackers, dusty leather, and rich tobacco. It’s refined like a room full of leather bound books and rich mahogany.
What you may notice first is the lack of sweetness, yet sweetness, much like 90% cacao or baking chocolate. That richness is supplemented by tobacco and herbal flavors, all finished with a stout (pun intended) bitterness.
Soft, rich, and moderately carbonated. I’d call it velvety.
This really is a good Porter. I’m curious about the malt bill and love the hops.
