Huge amounts of roasted barley and chocolate come together in a surprisingly smooth and drinkable stout. Bring out the heavy artillery!

Fortunate to grab a single can at Cushwa/Columbia. Overall description suggests a good imp stout; maybe just what I love.
But was still unprepared for what great big malty, roasty, chocolately stout this is.
Absolutely love the pour, look, nose and flavor of this super big Imp Chocolate stout that provides a noticeable but not obtrusive amount of roastiness that could burn or distract from the rich silky drinkability. This brew is so flavorful yet so drinkable and silky smooth.
In someways it’s an every day big stout, but instead it is a hugely flavorful sipper that fits with my favorites in this style.
I don’t know Cushwa that well, but this is a master craft brew. Sign me up for more! Kudos!!

Pitch black appearance with little to no light brown head that turns instantly to a collar, and produces no lacing. Bold roasty malt notes and chocolate fudge, moderate body, light carbonation, smooth mouthfeel.
