A fluffy over starched head sits above a murky blond-amber liquid in a clear glass liter mug. It arrived via a pour from a pint can. The head and glass lacing recede unevenly and that's not good. There's a dry, almost chalky smell to be had. with a little hoppiness. The taste is better, as the hops get more juicy and more bitter. The taste is pleasantly sweet up front and transitions to hoppy as it finishes, which makes it nice. Although on the sweet side overall, this does conclude with some nice hoppiness to provide some balance. Then the finish turns dry. The body is supple, the taste is complex and balanced, so the overall rating here is significantly above average.
