This Maibock is a celebration and nod to one of Maryland’s greatest traditions. With notes of sweet bread and toasted grain, this beer is then balanced out with a refreshing crispness and firm 6.7% ABV. Point Given is as bold as the thoroughbred it was named after.

5 oz draft pour at the Columbia taproom. I'm not a huge maibock fan but sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately, that's not the case with this beer. It's sweet and boozy with a weird soapy citrus flavor. Not undrinkable, but also not very enjoyable for me.
