Ever felt your phone buzzing in your pocket... but your phone wasn't even in your pocket?? If you answered "yes", then you my friend have experienced the phenomenon known as Phantom Haptics! Yeah dude, you've got a freaking ghost in your pocket! Probably means it is a good time to have a beer... like this Double Dry Hopped Hazy IPA we named after said phenomenon. It is hopped with Mosaic in the kettle and DDH'd with Southern Hemisphere favorites like Vic Secret, Enigma, Kohatu, and Wai-iti, it's got all that tropical fruit. We also tried out a new yeast strain on this one for a full on juice effect. Dig it.

Thanks, Bill & Kristine!
Was lucky enough to get a can of this after a recent visit by Bill and Kristine after a night of drinking at Resident, North Park and Bottlecraft. Online description read, “Ever felt your phone buzzing in your pocket... but your phone wasn't even in your pocket?? Poured a golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Could see plenty of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Almost perfect foamy layered lacing. Almost perfect retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled a host of southern hemisphere hops right from the beginning. In order got sappy pine needle, herbal, viney berry, white grapefruit, citrus, Mosaic, mango peel and floral. Not quite as good out of the can, but still outstanding. Got additional notes of peach, stone fruit and mango. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. In order got southern hemisphere hops, sappy pine needle, herbal, viney berry, Mosaic, white grapefruit, citrus, mango peel, floral, peach blossom and stone fruit. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Just an excellent New England Style beer, even with Vic Secret being involved. Surprisingly excellent actually. (Overall - 4.25)
