Poured from a 16oz can into a Waterford IPA glass. Pours a crystal clear light golden color akin to apple juice almost and whatever faint soapy head appeared dies off instantly. Even a hard pour of the remainder of the can won’t throw a head. It’s not very appealing to look at but it has plenty of carbonation bubbles so I know it’s not dead or flat. But that’s where the conflict stops. Super dank on the nose with some citrus and melon. More pine on the taste with citrus in the finis. Perfectly bitter. Very drinkable. Full and lush mouthfeel. Lots of good stuff going on here. Not sure what to say was up with the pour / appearance.

Sweet tropical hoppy, orange citrus, hint of white wine grape, and piney-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a very clean and balanced, piney hoppy-dank, and hint of citrus finish. This hits all the marks for what I want in a westie...and great hop profile! Good stuff!

Spent way too much money on a bunch of beer from North Park Beer Company, Windmill Farms and Bine & Vine. Woof. Anyway, this was one of the reasons I went to North Park first as I looked up what they had to offer and saw this new release (and another). Was interested in the hop combo of Strata, Citra and Nelson. Full description called it, “Alakazam! Hocus Pocus! Shazam! Presto Change-o! Stratacadabra?!? Poured a gold-to-light amber clear color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see a few bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass at different speeds. Below average watery lacing. Bat retention. (Sight - 3.25)
Got all three hops right away, in order Nelson, Strata and Citra. Also strawberry, grapefruit, white wine, dank resin, pine, passion fruit, candied orange, melon and papaya. Much the same from the can, maybe the addition or orange blossom or orange creamsicle.(Smell - 4.00)
Tasted a little better than the nose. In order got Strata, Nelson, strawberry, grapefruit, passion fruit, orange blossom, papaya, Citra, candied orange, melon, white wine, dank resin and pine. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Just an excellent IPA. Loved it. (Overall - 4.25)
