Goose Banner, a top scientist at NPBC Labs was working on a lupulin-laced joose bomb and crafted a Double Dry Hopped Hazy Gooseberry DIPA capable of delivering an intensely hoppy and lusciously fruity experience not previously known to exist! During sensory testing of his creation, Dr. Banner exposed himself to the powerful alpha acid rays of the joose bomb which transformed our gentle Goose Banner into the hulking hop monstrosity known as The Incredible HONK!
This tasty beverage is hopped with Nelson Sauvin & Citra, and fermented with a lot of Golden Cape Gooseberry puree. It's bright, sharp, tangy, hoppy, and delish! Just don't make it angry... you might not like it when it's angry.

Poured a hazy medium yellow-to-gold color with two fingers of frothy white head. Could see some bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Outstanding spotty lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Smelled gooseberry, Nelson, vanilla, white grape, grapefruit, Citra, passion fruit, floral and mixed berry. More Citra in the can than the glass. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted better than the nose. Tons of juice. In order got gooseberry, passion fruit, grapefruit, Nelson, white grape, Citra, floral, pineapple and berry. Super smooth for 8.9 pct. ABV. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Juicy finish. (Feel - 4.50)
An outstanding beer. So juicy. Much better than I thought it was going to be. (Overall - 4.00)

Sweet and fruity, white wine grape, orange/tangerine citrus, and hint of piney dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a slightly muddled, gooseberry fruit and hoppy bitterness. This has good depth and mouthfeel to it, but I think it probably would have been better to just let the hops shine on their own without adding the gooseberry puree. The puree overpowered the hop profile a bit. Still good and drinkable and I like that they thought "outside the box" on this one.
