We're big fans of Tiki Cocktails, so we thought, "why not make our next Imperial Berliner a Painkiller cocktail inspired beverage?!" So, we built this tasty drink with our "-Cito" Imperial Berliner platform and then dosed it with over 800lbs of pineapple and orange purees, plus buckets of coconut chips and coconut cream, and last but not least a confident dash of nutmeg. It's tart, tropical, and totally tasty!

Spent way too much at Windmill Farms and then at North Park Beer Company, but happy with my selections. Wanted to get this last time when Sonny picked up some for me. Have heard and seen some wonderful praise of this beer since. North Park’s website described it as, “We're big fans of Tiki Cocktails, so we thought, "why not make our next Imperial Berliner a Painkiller cocktail-inspired beverage?!" So, we built this tasty drink with our "-Cito" Imperial Berliner platform and then dosed it with over 800lbs of pineapple and orange purees, plus buckets of coconut chips and coconut cream, and last but not least a confident dash of nutmeg. Poured a medium yellow-to-gold hazy color with 1-to-2 fingers of off-white fizzy head. Could not see any bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Some kind of cream texture poured out of the can at the very end. Below average watery lacing. Poor retention. (Sight - 3.00)

Smelled huge pineapple up front. Also coconut cream (like sun tan lotion), mandarin orange, buttery corn (not in a bad way), tangerine and tropical zest. Much of the same from the can. (Smell - 4.25)

Tasted much better than the nose. Wow. Lots of flavors mixing here. Got big pineapple, coconut cream, mandarin orange, tangerine, guava, lingering coconut flakes and maybe a touch of the mentioned nutmeg. Did not taste anywhere near the 8.5 pct. ABV, maybe like 5.8 pct. (Taste - 4.50)

Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, tropical finish. (Feel - 4.75)

Not sure I’d want more than a can of this at once, but this was awesome. Berliners are quickly rising up the chain for me as one of my favorite styles. (Overall - 4.50)

Sweet and tart, pineapple-orange, hint of spice cake nose on this one! Ha! Taste follows with a light coconut and nutmeg vibe...mixed with a hint of pineapple and a some orange citrus tartness on the finish. This has decent depth and mouthfeel. Good!

I've now drank this a few times, brought it to happy hour at work, and blown a coworkers mind at the beer shop when I placed this in his hands. Such an interesting concept and well executed. For someone that missed a dream vacation to Kauai bc of covid this was Hawaii in a glass. My only real knock is the slight yeasty profile more prevalent in some cans vs others. Better ice cold. Well done this could easily be put in bottles and sold at a 375ml for $15. Well done North Park I haven't been a fan the way you've done releases or a lot of your latest drops but this was a winner.
