Bursting with a gigantic cloud of pineapples, tangerines, and the stickiest dank nugs, this unfiltered West Coast Double IPA is a pure expression of our new favorite hop - Strata! A tight malt bill of only our favorite Pilsner malt to bring enough balance to let the glorious oily hop resins shine through. At 8.5% ABV with a dry finish, it's big enough to fend off an army and way too easy to drink. THIS IS STRATA!

Went to North Park for this beer and three other 4-packs of others. North Park’s website called this, “Bursting with a gigantic cloud of pineapples, tangerines, and the stickiest dank nugs, this unfiltered West Coast Double IPA is a pure expression of our new favorite hop - Strata! Poured a medium yellow hazy color with three fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see lots of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Almost perfect retention. (Sight - 4.75)

Smelled Strata, grapefruit, weed, dank resin, pine, pineapple, herbal and mango rind. Got some earthy pilsner malt from the can, but it smelled better out of the glass. (Smell - 4.25)

Taste wasn’t quite as good, but still outstanding. In order got Strata, grapefruit, dank resin, pine, herbal, pineapple, mango rind, floral and just a touch of mentioned earthy pilsner malt. (Taste - 4.00)

Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 4.00)

Another outstanding offering from North Park. (Overall - 4.00)

Batch 300(!!) Canned 22 July. Thanks, Chris!

A mildly hazy glowing orange with a dense white head with excellent retention and lacing, this looks gorgeous. The nose is candied pineapple and weed, super dank and terpene rich, mildly earthy and mushroomy. Ripe clementine and tangelo with mild bitterness are present. Minimal malt presence, though there is a light creamy, doughy character, and having this be unfiltered softens the nose. The palate opens bitter and fruity with pineapple, grapefruit, super dank weed, but also with some canned pineapple juice and flesh. The midpalate has some citrus with tangelo and mandarin. A touch of coconutis present. Creamy on the finish with soft carbonation, this beer is medium light in body. Pineapple and weed linger in the finish. Excellent.
