Collaboration with Equilibrium Brewery.
We were so stoked to work with Equilibrium Brewery to create this decadent liquid that is totally reminiscent of Mom’s walnut brownies! Straight outta the NPBC kitchen, we brewed this nutty brownie with an absurd amount of house toasted walnuts, single origin Columbian cacao nibs, and dreamy Madagascar vanilla beans. The aroma is intense with crunchy oven-roasted fudgy brownie batter and toasted walnuts! Layered flavors of dark chocolate ganache, toasted walnuts, crispy brownie edges, and vanilla-infused chocolate frosting are sublimely decadent. A most luxuriant and creamy richness coats the palate and finishes bittersweet, like a 70% cocoa dark chocolate truffle. Contains lactose.

Was lucky enough to order this one online, although it didn’t sell out as quick as anyone anticipated I think. This one sounded really good as a collaboration with Equilibrium. Poured a pitch black color with less than one finger of khaki tan fizzy head. Calm setting underneath the head as well. Very bad watery lacing. Very bad retention. (Sight - 2.00)
Smelled just like a brownie with walnuts. Also brownie batter, brownie crust, cocoa, sticky chocolate frosting, baker’s chocolate and vanilla. Not as good out of the bottle, but did have some chocolate milk notes. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. Was really digging this. In order got walnut, brownie, cocoa, brownie batter, brownie crust, sticky, thick chocolate frosting, dark chocolate, cacao, baker’s chocolate, vanilla, milk chocolate, lightly toasted coffee malt and a touch of anise. The 13.7 pct. ABV was well-hidden. (Taste - 4.25)
Full body. Sticky texture. Flat carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 4.50)
This was excellent overall. Basically just like a fresh brownie with walnuts. (Overall - 4.25)
