The kinda dead-ish have risen and formed an army of dank twisted evil! They were never truly dead! The horror!! Double dry hopped with Mosaic and Strata, the aroma is bursting with so much berry character - blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries, with accents of pine sap, juicy mangoes, deep oily resins, grapefruit zest, and fresh green herb. Dare we say this one is juicy, but it's still crispy and has just enough bitterness to check all the West Coast boxes.

Glass: North Park 16-oz. Willi Becher glass
Price: $10.00 for beer and take-home glass
From: North Park Beer Company in North Park (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: Nov. 10, 2020
Consumed: Nov. 10, 2020
Misc.: $10 for full pour and take home glass for San Diego Beer Week
Snuck over to North Park for their SDBW special. This was $10 for any pour and you go to take the glass home. I waited until I saw the glass and liked it. Would be great for pilsners down the road. Still had to get food to be able to drink, so not sure it was worth another $8 or so but oh well. It was dark outside but poured a clear pale color with 2-to-3 fingers of off-white frothy head when I got it. Could see some bubbles in the dark coming up. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled big Mosaic, blueberry, mango, Juicy Fruit, floral, dank pine, resin, lesser Strata and grapefruit. (Smell - 4.50)
Taste was good, but not as good as the nose. Big Mosaic, blueberry, mango, dank pine, resin, weed, wet grass, Juicy Fruit, peppery spice, grapefruit and lesser Strata. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Just an excellent beer overall. Glad I had this one. (Overall - 4.25)

Sweet tropical hoppy dank, slightly malty, and piney-herbal dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a sweet, clean and crisp, slightly malty, hoppy dank bitter swallow. The hoppy bitterness becomes more pronounced as it warms, but it is still balanced against the malty sweetness. This has a crisp finish and feels medium-bodied. This is good stuff!
