Juicier than a fresh pineapple, more zesty than a ripe nectarine, and able to leap tall buildings in a SINGLE BOUND?! Look, up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's El Dorado! A heroic hop that is bursting with so much apricot and tropical fruit that we just had to showcase it in this refreshing single hopped Hazy Pale Ale.

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England Pale Ale
Glass: Pure Project 16-oz. brandy snifter glass
Price: $3.59 (10 pct. off $3.99 because of a mixed 6-pack)
From: San Diego Wine & Beer Company in Miramar (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: Dec. 20, 2020
Consumed: Dec. 21, 2020
Misc.: Canned on Dec. 1, 2020
Grabbed a mixed 6-pack of North Park along with two others after making a trade at Pure Project. North Park’s website called it “Juicier than a fresh pineapple, more zesty than a ripe nectarine, and able to leap tall buildings in a SINGLE BOUND?! Look, up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! It's El Dorado! A heroic hop that is bursting with so much apricot and tropical fruit that we just had to showcase it in this refreshing single-hopped Hazy Pale Ale.”
Poured a light golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy off-white head. Just a few bubbles coming along the sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb lacing. Almost perfect retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled candied apricot, peach, tangerine, pineapple, pear, stone fruit, mango, guava and floral. Even better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted about as good as the nose. In order got El Dorado, candied apricot, tangerine, pineapple, pear, stone fruit, mango, guava, melon and citrus zest. (Taste - 3.75)
Light body. Thin texture. Lively carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Was back and forth on a few categories, but this was very good overall. (Overall - 3.75)
