This entire year has been about making lemonade out of stuff that is not even lemons! We have been tested to the fullest extent and we are so grateful to still be here making beer for you! To help close the books on year number 2020, we put together this incredibly juicy beverage with the best hops available! Sitting atop a base of our favorite Pils malt, creamy malted oats, flaked oats, and local raw wheat, we piled on the Citra Incognito, Citra Cryo, Nelson Sauvin, Galaxy, Nectaron, and a bit more Citra! WOOOO!! This is the juice, baby! Gooseberries and tang, passion frooot, mangoes galore, sauvignon blanc grapes, white gummy bears, and just a bit of that grassy Galaxy goodness (you know what I mean...). 2020 is OVER, so please enjoy this beer!!

Type: 16-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England Double / Imperial IPA
Glass: Pure Project 16-oz. brandy snifter glass
Price: $22.99 for a 4-pack
From: North Park Beer Co. in North Park (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: Dec. 31, 2020
Consumed: Dec. 31, 2020
Misc.: Canned on Dec. 29, 2020; Split 4-pack with Sonny
Grabbed a 4-pack of this and some others while picking up my 2020 is Over! Pastry Stout bottle. It was New Years Eve, so I had to get it, right? North Park’s website called it “This entire year has been about making lemonade out of stuff that is not even lemons! Poured a light golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. World-class foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
First thought on the smell was just wow. Monkish came to mind. Citra, Nelson, Galaxy and Nectaron (had it the day before for the first time - also from North Park) all came through. Specifically passion fruit, peach, nectarine, stone fruit, gooseberry, white grape, grapefruit rind, pineapple and some melon. Not quite as good out of the can, but that would be pretty hard to do. (Smell - 4.50)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. Still reminding me of a Monkish beer. Citra, Nelson, Galaxy, Nectaron, passion fruit, peach, nectarine, gooseberry, white grape, pineapple, grapefruit rind, orange, melon, dank pine and lingering peppery spice. Just a banger. Almost tastes like a smooth hazy TIPA, even though that doesn’t quite make sense. (Taste - 4.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Smooth finish. (Feel - 4.75)
Wow. Just incredible. So much flavor packed into a hazy DIPA. Glad I have another can, but need to get more of it ASAP. (Overall - 4.50)

Pours a murky, hazy, dank pineapple color. 2 finger fluffy frothy white head, looks like a cloud. Retention is good. Some lacing on the glass.
The nose is hoppy. Pineapple, mango and just the slightest pine aroma.
Taste - Pineapple, and mango. Very soft flavors, but there, and there's a creamy flavor here as well. Very mellow flavors, but they are here.
Juicy and creamy feeling. So Juicy and creamy. Nice body. Soft feeling. not billed as a NEIPA, but it has a lot of the hallmarks of one.
Tasty and solid IPA.
