Snuck over to Windmill Farms as I was looking for this and a few other North Park beers. North Park’s website called this “Simple Division is our latest double dry hopped adventure that brings together El Dorado, Vic Secret, Enigma, and Rakau hops! Fresh aromas of pineapple juice, mixed fruit snack cup, every stone fruit in the orchard, and a dab of pine. Delightfully tasty with an array of sweet tropical fruit medley, white gummy bears, and peach rings.”
Poured a medium yellow hazy color with four fingers of rocky white head. Could see just a few bubbles coming up from the sides of the glass. Perfect layered foamy lacing. World-class foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled pineapple, grapefruit, El Dorado, candied mixed fruit cup, peach, stone fruit, floral, white grape, mixed gummi bears, tropical fruit punch, passion fruit, raspberry, mango, Enigma (after looking at hop profile), Rakau (after reviewing hop profile) and light Vic Secret. This one grew on me each sniff. Not quite as good out of the can with even the addition of lactose? (Smell - 4.25)
El Dorado led the way on the taste, followed by pineapple, grapefruit, peach, candied mixed fruit cup, stone fruit, white grape, gummi bears, tropical fruit punch, passion fruit, mango, hints of raspberry and light Vic Secret. Looking at hop profile, also big Enigma and some Rakau. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Just another banger from North Park. Really liked this even though going in I thought the Vic Secret would make me think otherwise. (Overall - 4.25)
