Meet Mr. Hoppy, the Dank Supreme IPA! This most excellent West Coast IPA is loaded with Strata hops and Citra Incognito and hit with a big dry hop of Mosaic Cryo before getting a mega double dry hop dose of the DANK TRIFECTA: Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin, and Strata! This is just rippin' with fresh blueberries, strawberries, juicy tangerines, tropical passionfruit, and the stickiest, ickiest, oiliest dank resins around!

North Park clearly is killing it with their IPAs!!!
Purchased single at Bottlecraft Oceanside - packaged Feb 19/2024.
Pours a bright clear golden yellow with two fingers of foamy white head.
Aroma is strikingly hoppy with pine resin, a dank weediness, grapefruit, a hint of berries, and a bit of Mosaic induced oniony notes.
Taste follows the nose with strong piney and resinous hop flavours, spicy dankness, tropical fruit, mango and citrus rind - herbal and a bit grassy.
Medium mouthfeel with bright carbonation and a lingering dank weediness.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 9/27/2022 into a shaker pint glass.
L - Pours a clear lemon yellow color with a nice fluffy white head that dissipates slowly.
S - Smells Danky and of citrus .
T - Tastes of pine and citrus with a nice bitterness.
F - Medium body and carbonation.
O - It’s described as super dank, and I would agree.

Sweet tropical hoppy, hint of citrus, hint of white wine grape, and prominent piney-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a clean and balanced, piney-hoppy bitter finish...lingers a bit. This is a great new school westie!

Glass: Clear 16-oz. Bruges beer glass
Price: $4.29
From: Windmill Farms in Del Cerro (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: May 3, 2021
Consumed: May 17, 2021
Misc.: Canned on April 20, 2021

Went over to Windmill Farms to pick up a few beers and was happy to see this one as it was one of the North Park beers I was looking for. Their website called this “Meet Mr. Poured a light amber clear color with two fingers of off-white head. Could see some bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass. Decent watery lacing. Decent retention. (Sight - 3.75)

Smelled Strata, dank resin, pine, grapefruit peel, Citra, orange rind, tangerine, papaya, passion fruit, strawberry, viney berry, mango, Mosaic and hints of Nelson. Much better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)

Tasted better than the nose. Got Strata, Citra, dank resin, pine, grapefruit peel, orange rind, tangerine, Nelson, black pepper, papaya, passion fruit, strawberry, mango, Mosaic and floral. (Taste - 4.25)

Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, slightly bitter finish. Just lovely on the way down. (Feel - 4.75)

Really liked this one. Just another solid IPA from North Park. (Overall - 4.25)

This is about exactly what I want in a new school west coast ipa. Nose brings big hits of tropical fruits, underripe peaches, and some dark berry notes.
Taste blends the underripe peach with sweet and tangy tangerine and trails off into a slightly diesely white wine territory.
Crisp and light on the palate with a full flavor that works your tongue over proper.
Great beer from some great brewers

Thanks, Shane, Chris.

A crystal clear yellow with a dense white head with good retention and lacing this looks great. The nose is insane. Pure dank, pure hops, just ridiculous. Clean, resiny, bitter, dank with fruit - grape, citrus, a little tropical character. The palate opens clean, bitter, resiny, biting, with a blend of citrus, grape and some mango. Crisp, clean, cracker-light body. Bitter, resiny, dank finish. Fabulous.
