Snuck over to Windmill Farms to see if they had some North Park cans I was eyeing and alas they did. Their website called it “Next up in our series of “Whip” milkshake IPAs is this mango, green cardamom, and vanilla infused elixir that will give you some mango lassi vibes! Rich and creamy mouthfeel, heady cardamom aroma, and a sweet tangy mango finish is totally divine.”
Poured a light-to-medium gold hazy color with one finger of off-white frothy head. Maybe just a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Very good spotty lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 3.75)
Smelled mango, spicy cardamom, green leaf, dank weed, pine, vanilla, herbal and tea. Not that much flavor even though I could pick all those out. A little better out of the can. (Smell - 3.75)
Tasted a little better than the nose. Got big mango, guava, vanilla, peach, pineapple, spicy cardamom, green leaf, dank weed, pine, black pepper, herbal and tea. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Soft carbonation. Juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
This was very good milkshake IPA overall. (Overall - 3.75)
