West Coast IPA brewed with Citra Incognito and double dry hopped with Zappa and Strata hops. For our latest dive into the West Coast IPA realm, we paired up one of our most favorite hops ever (Strata) with a curious newer variety Zappa and we couldn't be more stoked! We're getting a big blast of passion fruit, pine, bitter citrus, a dab of the devil's lettuce, and a hint of grassy spice. Dry, bitter, and as dead as can be.

Snuck over to North Park to grab a mixed 4-pack of new releases from the past few weeks. North Park’s website called it “West Coast IPA brewed with Citra Incognito and double dry hopped with Zappa and Strata hops. Poured a medium yellow clear color with four fingers of rocky-to-frothy white head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom off the glass and along the sides at different speeds. World-class foamy lacing. Perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled Zappa, passion fruit, Fruity Pebbles, pine, grapefruit, Strata, grass, weed, garlic and onion. A little better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted about as good as the nose. In order got Zappa, Fruity Pebbles, passion fruit, Strata, grapefruit, pine, black pepper, grass, weed, garlic and onion. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Liked this overall. Really grew on me each sip. (Overall - 4.25)

super interesting aroma! kind of like the old days when you whiff on something new to your senses and a bit of excitement emerges.... dry but oily feeling on the sides of the tongue.... finish lingers and keeps the experience stable.
