Bottle. Black color. Thick. Tan head.
Coffee for days. Espresso, but not burnt or roasted. Smooth. Chocolate, oak, bourbon, nutty, vanilla sweetness. Really solid balance between the non coffee adjuncts.

Misc.: Pick-up day for the bottle; Quick review
Snuck over to North Park to pick up my bottle that I got in a lottery for a quick taster after finishing a day with Clara. Wasn’t psyched about $11.50 for a 5-oz. pour, but figured I could review it and figured out what to do with the bottle later. Email description called for “Conditioned on Shredded Coconut, Toasted Coconut, Veracruz Mexican Vanilla Beans, and a Proprietary Blend of Mostra Coffee's Ethiopian Anaerobic Honey Coffee & Ghost Bear Espresso Blend Coffee.”
Poured a pitch-black color with 1-to-2 fingers of khaki-tan frothy head when I got it. Could see a few bubbles along the sides of the glass. Decent spotty lacing. Average retention. (Sight - 3.50)
Smelled vanilla, chocolate syrup, smooth bourbon, toasted coconut, roasted coffee, chocolate milk, caramel and espresso. Got better each whiff. (Smell - 4.50)
Wow. Tasted even better than the smell. Got chocolate syrup, milk chocolate, vanilla, smooth bourbon, toasted coconut, roasted coffee beans, caramel, toffee, honey, espresso and hints of molasses. (Taste - 4.75)
Full body. Sticky texture. Soft carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 5.00)
Slightly underrated this overall. Just a world-class pastry stout. Glad I got to try it and got lucky with a bottle. (Overall - 4.50)
