What happens when you combine the extreme power of "Eugene's Axe" and the magical mysticism of "Hop-Fu!"...still wondering? Well, the wait is over because we teamed up with the main homies from Fidens Brewing to bring a brand new flavor to your mouth! Citra, Strata, and Freestyle Nelson Sauvin will have your taste buds feeling comfortably numb with massive amounts of tropical mango, drippy orange, and juicy strawberry flavors. Here is to wishing you were here because we can't decide who’s "Hop-Fu" is better, but one thing we do know is that these hops are hitting harder than a barbed wire wrapped bat, so you better be careful with this axe!

3/13/23 Batch! Sweet tropical hoppy, peachy-stonefruit, hint of white wine grape, sweet orange citrus, and a Nelson-dank nose on this one! Yum! Great aromatics! Taste follows with a juicy-soft, orange juice citrus, and a hoppy-dank bitter finish. This is absolutely delicious! I think this would be so much better if it leaned towards a thicker/murkier softness than the orange juicy mouthfeel...but, outside of that, this is outstanding!

Misc.: Collaboration with Fidens; Quick review

Snuck over to North Park and Pure Project to track down some hazies to take with me in a few weeks to Colorado. Had wanted to try this one for awhile so I decided to pull the trigger for a quick review. Untappd description was “What happens when you combine the extreme power of "Eugene's Axe" and the magical mysticism of "Hop-Fu!"...still wondering? Well, the wait is over because we teamed up with the main homies from Fidens Brewing to bring a brand new flavor to your mouth! Poured a medium golden hazy color with two fingers of frothy off-white head when I got it. Could see a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Almost perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.50)

Smelled Strata, strawberry, Nelson, dank weed, pine, mango, viney berry, Citra, pineapple, grapefruit rind and white grape. (Smell - 4.25)

Tasted almost as good as the nose. Followed it as well. In order got strawberry, Strata, mango, Nelson, dank weed, spicy pine, viney berry, Citra, pineapple, grapefruit rind, orange creamsicle, white grape and papaya. (Taste - 4.25)

Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)

Just a lovely beer. Glad I got to try it before it left. (Overall - 4.25)
