Snuck over to North Park and Pure Project to track down some hazies to take with me in a few weeks to Colorado. This one was labeled on Untappd as “Hey, friends and neighbors! We would like to invite you to join us on another magical mystery, long, strange, rare peregrination tour-journey-voyage of fruit filled, juicy dankness courtesy of a backpack full of Warrior, Centennial, Citra Incognito, Citra Lupomax, Simcoe, Simcoe Cryo, Mosaic, Mosaic Cryo and Strata! Have no fear, we are here to guide you through this mixed red berry, ripe cantaloupe tasting experience...Yeah, Mr. Hop-Fu! is the culprit once again who is guilty of bringing you another piney, resiny, floral and crispy clean West Coast IPA for you to enjoy after you close out your next caper!”
Poured a medium yellow clear color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see a good deal of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Good watery spotty lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.00)
Lots of hops mentioned (seven!), but could initially on the nose pick out Mosaic, Strata, Citra and Simcoe. Also pine, dank resin, strawberry, mango, red grapefruit, papaya and some orange citrus. A little better out of the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted just about as good as the nose. In order got Mosaic, Strata, pine, dank resin, strawberry, mango, red grapefruit, Citra, Simcoe, black pepper, papaya, orange citrus and wet grass. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Just an excellent West Coast IPA. (Overall - 4.25)

Sweet tropical hoppy, piney, and hoppy-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a hoppy and slightly dry, piney bitter finish...as it warms, the crisp dryness comes out a bit more and competes with the piney bitterness. This is very clean and crisp...good stuff!
4.34 for the 2021 batch.
