Proceed with caution through a proverbial minefield of hops as you crush our latest Double Dry Hopped West Coast IPA "Bine Sweeper". Exploding with aromas of floral dankness and spicy earthiness, this stickest of the ickest selection is bursting with candied yellow peach, ripe blueberries and mixed red berries. Cheers!

Snuck over to Bine & Vine to pick up this beer. Wanted just a can but had to get a 4-pack. Twist my arm I guess. I have had maybe the last six or seven anniversary beers from Bine & Vine and had to get on this because I think it will sell out quick. North Park’s website read “Proceed with caution through a proverbial minefield of hops as you crush our latest Double Dry Hopped West Coast IPA "Bine Sweeper". Exploding with aromas of floral dankness and spicy earthiness, this stickest of the ickest selection is bursting with candied yellow peach, ripe blueberries and mixed red berries. Cheers!” Bine & Vine’s website had it as “A very special West Coast IPA kettle-hopped with Chinook & Simcoe, with a large double dry-hopping of Mosaic & Strata. My tasting notes:
"Floral citrus pith, resiny chronic, pink grapefruit, ripe honeydew, and Fruity Pebbles with ample bitterness, a medium body and crisp, dry finish." A perfect balance of old school with new; We were really going for that old school hop foundation of dank/resin/pine on the palate, but with brighter aromatics that really lure you in for another sniff/sip, and I think they really pulled it off! I'm proud to have been open for ten years, and I'm really proud of how this beer turned out.”

Poured a light amber clear color with five fingers of rocky white head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass, mostly moving quickly with a few slower streams. World-class spiderweb foamy lacing. Almost-perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)

Smelled dank Simcoe with garlic and onion, Mosaic, Strata, strawberry, rose blossom, floral, blueberry, passion fruit, Fruit Loop cereal and peach. Just as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)

Not as good as the nose but still solid. In order got spicy Simcoe, black pepper, garlic, onion, Mosaic, rose blossom, floral, blueberry, Strata, resin, dank weed, pine, passion fruit, Fruit Loop cereal, peach, grass and orange marmalade. (Taste - 4.00)

Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.25)

A damn solid offering from North Park. Outstanding really. (Overall - 4.00)

Thanks, Chris, Shane.
A clear light orange with a dense, off-white head with excellent retention and lacing this looks great. The nose makes me laugh. Immediate, vibrant, punchy hops, decidedly modern with tropical fruit, pine, melon, pineapple, peach and some berries Bone dry with a hint of malt character. Snappy. The palate opens bitter and fruity, pithy, clean and biting. The fruit is immediately noticeable, with the blend of peach, citrus and berries prominent, but that's followed by bitter orange peel and pine. Sufficiently pungent and oily, but not so.much so as to overwhelm the fruit flavors. Drying, bitter, resiny and fruity on the finish. Peach and citrus linger in the finish. Fabulous.

fresh and delicious, thanks to my buddy for bringing this one back from the west coast. its intensely hoppy, a cool mix of being brisk and bitter but also having a huge fruity dry hop complexion, certainly the best of both worlds, more modern to me than a lot of west coast types seem these days, less malty, more unique on the hop varietals, but also so much more clean to drink and refined than a lot of the hazy ones that dominate the ipa space now, really well executed beer here. deep golden to brassy colored, high shine, average white head on it. the aroma is peaches and berries to me, ripe on both counts, a little sweet in that sense, floral honey and weed resin, a sharp citrus flash, juicy strawberry specifically, and just a little botanical bitterness, what a whirlwind of hop character. most of it comes through in the flavor too, more stone fruit now, dried apricot too, a little pine bite before the bitter finish, and enough sweetness from the malt to uphold all this flavor and have it not seem out of balance. pretty stead linger on the finish, bitterness permeates but its not over the top, clean ferment, high overall quality. id love to know what the hops are in here, seems like a huge cocktail of northwest classics and new wave fruit bombs, works super well in here, and i like this having some malt to it. overall very solid, thankful to be able to share in drinking it, a definite treat!
