Meet Mr. Yeast, an ode to a childhood hero & beer style. With double the dry hopping trouble, Mr. Yeast and his sidekick are bringing you a West coast IPA that packs quite a punch and will knock your tube socks off. This classic medley of dank forest pine & resin combined with notes of grapefruit & orange will bring your taste buds back to a time when things were simpler...yet complex.
Pairs great with a knuckle sandwich.

Consumed: Jan. 21, 2021
Misc.: Canned on Dec. 29, 2020
Bought this and a bunch of other stuff on New Year’s Eve. Had been wanting to try this for a while after buying it almost right away when it came out. It just happens that I drank all my older IPAs first, as usually is my custom. Their website called this “Meet Mr. Yeast, an ode to a childhood hero. Poured a clear medium amber color with three fingers of frothy white head. Plenty of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Excellent spotty lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled Mosaic and Citra right away, with Chinook and Amarillo on the backend. Also mango, red grapefruit, floral, woody pine forest, dank resin and orange. Even better out of the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted a little bit better than the nose. In order got Mosaic, woody Chinook, Citra and Amarillo for the hops. Also mango, red grapefruit, pine forest, dank resin, orange, mixed berry and lingering black pepper. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. Really nice mouthfeel. (Feel - 4.75)
Wow. Just an excellent West Coast IPA. (Overall - 4.25)
